A few months ago, we discovered a systematic slow-down in our system due to large file imports. Not surprisingly, this caused a lot of wasted time for our customers…who wants to sit around waiting for an import to finish?
Once we were able to isolate the root cause of what was taking files such a long time to process, we started tasking out an entirely new, improved way to import large files.
This new importer won’t be something you’ll see on the front end of the website, but it will improve back end performance.
The result? No more imports stuck in queue or processing.
